Designers generally create the models and drawings and quality team will do the quality check on those model and drawings before releasing it to manufacturing. This quality check is tedious process and QC tool aims at automating this entire process in NX.
On the fly validation.
Quality check need not be done only after completing the design process. It can also be done during the design process and this QC tool enables on the fly validation which will give warning and suggestions during the design itself.
Checkmate.
Check mate is an out of the box functionality in NX and we can customize checkmate to add organization specific rules for modelling, assembly and drafting. These checkmate can be executed during the design and drafting process and also after the design process.
Comprehensive Quality Report.
After the quality check a comprehensive report will be generated, comprising of features and drawing entities which have passed/failed the checks.
